Adhar card project now becomes an important project for Common man specially because subsidy
offer on LPG is based on the above Card. In West Bengal status is extremely unclear. By surfing
internet it has been found that Adhar card process started at Kolkata on 01/11/2013 ( Phase -III).
However Government website does not show WEST BENGAL in the list of Status. Therefore
one will not know their District office and other relevant information. Communication from
official website is not there so people are mostly rely on hearsay or newspaper advertisement.
For old persons this is a big problem.
I have a suggestion adhar card process of registration camp for a metro city like Kolkata to be
done at BANKS of the locality. Most of the people is having their Bank account and they will
channelized their subsidy through local Bank only. Every Bank has the "KYC" detail of
customer so authority can get the mobile number and send SMS to customer about
programme. This will effectively cover the entire population who will receive subsidy on the
basis of ADHAR CARD and bank certification will also complete. I hope this will be hassle free
operation . Vendor maybe have to be present at the most two/three days to cover most of the
customer. The whole process can be done all over INDIA henceforth. As there is no suggestion box
in the website I prefer to write this blog for common man interest.
